Let us be the “we” in wellness, for you are never alone on your JOURNEY to wellness and recovery.

Lucy Garrighan, CEO and Founder

Lucy Garrighan has over thirty years of experience operating and leading a corporation. When her family was personally affected by substance use and mental health issues, she changed paths to help others going through similar situations. Jade Wellness Center is a state-licensed outpatient drug and alcohol treatment center assisting those with substance use disorder into recovery. Journey Healthcare followed soon after and expanded into mental health treatment. As the leader of Journey, she strives to make mental health treatment more accessible and acceptable. In the rare instance Lucy is not working, she can be found with one of her seven grandchildren.

Dr Victoria Matasy, MD

Dr. Matasy has been a fundamental team member with Journey Healthcare since 2017. She obtained her M.D. from The Medical College of Ohio at Toledo in 1990 and went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine there in 1993. She practiced Primary Care in Pittsburgh for 21 years, during which the opioid crisis developed. Seeing the need for substance use treatment, she started a new career in Addiction Medicine in 2015. She has worked in multiple outpatient facilities, allowing her to gain years of experience and perspective in treating substance use disorders. She is attuned to the needs of her clients and the challenges that they face. There have been many success stories over the years in the clients she has treated, and she is committed to continuing to make a difference in people’s lives going forward.
